One of the most important and basic parts of building a prayer life is to establish a connection with the Lord. He cares so much for us He gave everything He had to give to be able to build that connection with us. He sent His Son to destroy anything that would stand between us. When we pray a simple prayer and ask Jesus to be a part of our lives it builds a connection with Him and that opens a door to be closer to Him in prayer. We build a friendship with Him in the same way we would with anyone else. We begin by talking to Him and spending time with Him.

     I am Shannon Montgomery and I would like to organize an online interdenominational prayer group here in Keller, Texas. Anyone is welcome to participate. I will be posting teachings on prayer and hopefully you will feel free to ask for prayers and will join in prayer for others requests. There are many needs in our nation that also require prayer. My heart often goes to prayer for the children in this nation. We also have great needs that pertain to our country such as an upcoming election and the violence we have been reading about in the news. Please feel free to respond in prayer.
